A golf retreat in the Sandhills
Candyroot Lodge is a public golf retreat on 1,210 acres of sandy, pine-covered ground in western Chesterfield County, South Carolina. Its first course, by architect Mike Koprowski, is in his words "a really old-school test of golf", and every course Candyroot builds will be walkable.
The full buildout includes four courses, lodging and wellness amenities. That is a lot of golf to staff, and a walking retreat lives or dies by its caddies.
A pilot before opening day
Candyroot is a GolfCore pilot club. It is running its caddie yard on GolfCore through a pilot this autumn and winter, ahead of opening day. Loops are assigned off the tee sheet, caddies confirm by text, and the shop sees the whole day in one place.
Getting ready for spring 2027
GolfCore is helping Candyroot plan its opening and prepare its caddie program for it, and we are there for every club we work with, whatever they need from their club software.
