questions & answers

Common questions.

What GolfCore is, who it serves, and how to get it — answered plainly. Anything not covered here reaches a person at [email protected].

What is GolfCore?

GolfCore is an on-course system with high-resolution green maps, live wind, GPS, scoring, and tournament play — plus the club software behind the round, from tee sheets and caddie coordination to food and beverage at the turn.

What makes GolfCore's GPS different?

Detail. Every green is mapped contour by contour with fall-line arrows. Pin positions appear live, and wind is rendered over the hole at your position — not reduced to a compass rose in the corner.

Who is GolfCore for?

Members and guests at private clubs, the clubs and staff running the operation, caddies and caddie programs, and competitive players — college golfers, tournament players, and professionals — who want caddie-grade reads on courses they are still learning.

Can tournament players and college golfers use GolfCore?

Yes. The app is free to download, and with more than four thousand courses mapped, a practice round often starts with the greens already learned — contours, fall lines, and wind before you arrive. The tournament engine runs stroke play, match play, skins, and teams with live leaderboards. College programs and tours can write to [email protected].

Do caddies use GolfCore?

Yes — caddies carry the same app as the club and its members: green contour maps with fall lines, live wind, and the day's pins. Loops are assigned off real tee times and confirmed by text, and once a caddie is onboarded at one club, any club on the platform can request them.

Where did GolfCore come from?

GolfCore was founded in 2023 for private-club play in California: walking rounds, single-bag caddies, and the operational detail that standard requires. Three seasons of daily use shaped the product you see now.

Is GolfCore available at my course?

More than four thousand courses are mapped contour by contour across all fifty states, Britain, and Ireland — from California and the Pacific Northwest through the Mountain West and the Plains to Texas, Florida, and the Northeast, and on to the links of Scotland, England, Wales, and Ireland — and new courses come online daily. The next phase is every caddyable course in America. If you want GolfCore's GPS and green maps at your club, write to [email protected] and we'll talk about mapping it.

Can my club or caddie program run on GolfCore?

Yes. GolfCore is complete club management software: tee sheet and booking, caddie yard coordination and scheduling, tournament formats with live leaderboards, and on-course food and beverage. Clubs and caddie programs onboard through [email protected].

Is GolfCore a golf simulator?

No. GolfCore is on-course software by GolfCore LLC — it is not the ProTee golf simulator product of the same name. The two are compared at golfcore.org/simulator.

How do I get the app?

GolfCore is free to download on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android, or sign in on the web at golfcore.app/login. Club features activate with your club membership.
