A club where every golfer walks with a caddie
The Institute is an 18-hole, par 72 private club on two hundred acres of bentgrass, cypress and oak in Morgan Hill, California. Single-bag caddies are mandatory, so the caddie yard is how the club plays.
That makes the yard the hardest part of the day to run. Every tee time needs a caddie, every caddie needs to know where and when to report, and the shop needs to see the whole picture before the first group tees off.
Our founding club
The Institute is where GolfCore began. The caddie master assigns loops from the same tee sheet the shop keeps, caddies confirm by text from their phones, and arrivals show up on the sheet as they happen. Since December 2023 that has added up to 3,815 caddie assignments, carried by 135 caddies.
Caddies carry GolfCore on the course too, with the same green contour maps, live wind and pin positions the club's staffers see.
Events, tournaments and the turn
The same system runs the club's calendar. Organizers have put on 1,375 club events in GolfCore, with announcements and text messages keeping caddies and staff coordinated, down to food and beverage at the turn.
Across the yard, the events and the club's communications, GolfCore has sent 83,146 text messages for The Institute.
What comes next
The club is adding The Little i, a nine-hole par 3 course arriving in 2027. GolfCore will be there to run it alongside the main course.
