how they compare

GolfCore vs Blue Tees

Blue Tees is a golf GPS app, Blue Tees GAME, that works on its own or with Blue Tees rangefinders and devices. GolfCore is a golf GPS with free yardages, green maps, modeled wind and a free Shot Tracer on iPhone. Which fits depends on how you want the wind handled, and how you want to pay for green reading.

The short version

Both apps give free GPS distances to the green. Blue Tees' Core plan costs less than GolfCore Premium for green reading and a plays-like number. GolfCore models the wind over the whole hole rather than adjusting one number, and its Shot Tracer is free and unlimited on iPhone.

GolfCore publishes this comparison of its own product, with Blue Tees's details read from its own website on October 8, 2026.

Blue Tees

What Blue Tees does

Blue Tees GAME is the golf GPS app behind Blue Tees' rangefinders and devices, and it works without them. Its free Lite plan gives front, center and back distances. Core, at $49.99 a year, adds green heat maps and contours and True Distance yardages, and Intelligence, at $79.99 a year, adds an AI caddie and satellite maps.

GolfCore

What GolfCore does differently

GolfCore gives every golfer the map, yardages to the front, center and back of the green, and the scorecard at every course. Premium adds green maps scanned from elevation data, with contour lines and arrows along the fall line, and wind modeled over the hole from the trees and ridges around it.

GolfCore also traces your swing videos: film a swing or pick one from Photos and it draws the ball flight on the video, free and with no limit on iPhone.
